We go by taxi to the Schnegger Säge hut (1.487 m): There we start the hike via trail nr. 1 to the Silvesteralm hut and finally to the Steinbergalm hut (1.987 m, Three Peaks view). After the rest we go back on the same path to the starting point. Here we take the taxi again to return to Innichen/San Candido. Start in Reischach where you take the cable car up to Kronplatz. At the top, enjoy a 360° panoramic view before descending the Furcia Trail (S2, moderately difficult) – a flowing but partially technical trail with roots, tight corners and rocky sections – leading to the Furkel Pass (1,758 m). From the pass, a pleasant forest road winds down through woods and meadows into the Gadertal Valley to reach St. Vigil in Enneberg. After a short break, the tour continues steadily uphill to Pederü, first on asphalt, then on gravel roads.The alpine climb begins at Pederü, heading up to the Fanes Hut (2,060 m) on a well-maintained former military road. Though demanding, the climb is scenic and rewarding. By cable car, we ascend to Kronplatz (2275m), where we enjoy a magnificent view of the Alps and the Dolomites. At the summit of Kronplatz, we marvel at the largest bell in the Alps: the Concordia. The tour along the panoramic path reveals the breathtaking beauty of the South Tyrolean mountains. The hike concludes at the summit of Kronplatz, providing the opportunity to visit the Messner Mountain Museum or participate in various activities offered at the summit. Every Tuesday and Friday, children have the opportunity to ride a pony. Each ride lasts about 10 minutes and costs €15. No registration is required. The meeting point and starting location are at the Rotwandwiesenhütte hut. The pony rides are organized by the Unterlanerhof riding stable. The activity is cancelled in case of bad weather.
